Charity Football Pool – Week #7 Update

Charity Football Image REV 9.2

Week #7 yielded only a couple of close games, including Washington’s franchise-record comeback win over Tampa Bay, and Jacksonville’s Yahoo-streamed squeaker (despite having a huge first-half lead) over Buffalo in London. But mostly the weekend was highlighted by relatively easy wins and blowouts, as 10 of 14 games were decided by a touchdown or more, and 5 of those by double-digits.

The surprise of the day had to be in San Diego where the home-standing Chargers sunk to a 30-3 deficit before eventually falling 37-29 to their AFC West rivals, the Oakland Raiders. The result of that game also ended our 2-week run of collective immunity as it did cost one of our players their spot in the pool. Everyone else stayed alive with wins by St. Louis (2), Arizona, and Carolina.

Week #7 by the numbers:
5 players began Week #6
1 eliminated
4 advance to Week #8

SCHEDULE NOTE: Week #8 again features a 9:30 AM E.T. kickoff from London (Detroit vs. Kansas City). If you wish to pick that game you’ll have to submit your pick early. As always, all other Sunday games will adhere to the usual 1:00 PM E.T. deadline.
